First Time Configuration
After you download the app the first time it requires you to create a 4 digit security pin. This pin will be used only in case of a tapón loss it is not required for anything else but it is mandatory to prevent marking a tapón as lost by accident.
In order to make the app work you have to grant access to Family Control so the app can block the desired apps when you want to.
Profile Creation
On the main screen under the "Profiles" tab you can create and configure different profiles, this is the first step for making the app work. New profiles can be created by clicking on the "+" sign on the right upper corner of the profiles tab.
On each profiles you can configure the name, the associated tapón and the number of emergency unlocks. Each emergency unlock allows you to unlock everything for some minutes (up to 15) in case you need to unlock an app quickly in the middle of an active tapón session.
You can also schedule a profile to start up automatically and periodically. In order to do this you need to have an associated tapón.
Finally you have to select which apps or categories you want to lock under the profile that you are creating. These will be the apps that you won't have access when the tapón session is active.
Adding a new tapón
In order to add a new tapón (or your first one) you have to go to the main screen and click on the three dots on the upper right corner. This opens new tabs that are not usually needed in day to day operations. The first of them is "tapones".
If you have acquired your tapón or tag for a bottle cap through us you just have to click on "Register existing tapón" and scan it. After that you can associate the tapón to a created profile. You can change the profile associated with each tapón on this tab or on each profile directly.
Start your tapón session
After everything is set up you just have to click on the logo of the main screen, a popup will appear on the screen to scan your tapón. Just get your tapón close to the upper left corner of your iPhone and the session will start. If you have a session scheduled it will start by itself.
End your session
When you feel ready to end the session just click on the logo again and it will ask you to scan the tapón again to stop the session.
Additional Settings
You can control if the app shows a live activity widget on your phone and if the app produces notifications on the settings tab. Here you can also change the pin that you configured on the first launch of the app.
